PUBLIC RELATIONS

This is important for any organization as the PR plays as an important role to accomplish the organization objectives, define philosophy and facilitate organization changes. They have good communication between the internal and external, develop optimistic relations and create consistency. A PR is someone who build awareness, help to manage status and reputation, promote brand value and develop credibility
The way I implied PR in my internship was by using it in order to build a relationship with all the staffs in MPA Info Solution and especially during the week that I was in recruitment where I build relation with applicants who applied for positions in the company when I called them.
In essence relation in this context means trust, understanding, and a means of media which for me was pictures I used to complete my media.
My Personal Reflections:
Public relations has also developed my public speaking skills as well as increased my confidence level to even an higher level. Public relation has taught me the insights of how a PR agency would function and how the relationships with customers are being well-known, build and preserved. Through public relation I was able to develop on my media relation skills. This is because my 2 ½ years’ of work and study program and also my internships experience had expose me and developed the inner skills within me. I love picking up the phone and answering while I was playing a role in PR as when call for inquires would come in. I was also able to gain more confidence in my own abilities too. The knowledge as well as work and the internship experiences had gave me the confidence to be built within me. When I became much more confident, I am able to improve my public speaking skills and build my communication skills as well. I got the chance to meet and build network with many experts and specialist, industrial icons and meeting influencing leaders that has been an enormous opportunity given to be to help me understand myself better in this field. Each people that I met and came across shared their expert knowledge, lessons, advice as well as experience with me. Without proper public relation, the organization cannot get the proper recognition and unable them to build their brand.
