TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

Training and Development is very important in an organization as it helps the company to unleash/improve employees skills and allows employees to learn new knowledge. This can help in employee's growth and their future performance. By providing the right training, it can retain the perfect employee and grow profit which can contribute to the organization. Training is teaching someone something where it can be a specific skill or knowledge while development is the development or growth of the skills and knowledge gained. 
During my internship, I applied ,my theoretical/academic knowledge that I have gained while in Saito Univeristy College which I used during internship. Example is the recruitment process and employee relation.
My Personal Refection:

As much as training and development is important in industry and in organization, training and development is also important when it is applied back to us.  Training and development was one of my favourite subject. Through training and development I learnt various types of training module targeted for different type of improvement and the training varies and is not just limited to one. The more training the employee receives, the more an employee will sharpen their skill as well as develop themselves for the future which can be beneficial for the company. Industrial visit and experience was great experience as well I got to interview and conduct company visit with Dato'  Dr Ang Bon Beng is an industry icon. He is a Senior Regional Manager and Executive Director of Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd. My group was the first company to conduct a visit in his company. The knowledge and experience shared was so precious and full of strong information and messages. I also met and build network with many experts and specialist, industrial icons and meeting influencing leaders has been an enormous opportunity given to be to help me understand myself better in this field.

I implemented training and development in to my life as well. Initially when I started off my life in Saito University College, I was an introvert and was lacking in self-confidence. One semester I was learning training and development subject and instantly it became my favorite subject. It was this subject that has taught even weak employees can be great leaders one day with the right training provided. That day I decided I wanted to be a good leader. I decided to apply that method towards myself. I started to apply training towards myself for my self-improvement and growth which slowly began to develop my confident as well as improving all my weakness. Today, I am a much better person now if its compared to the old me before this.
