INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCES
Saito University College has given me opportunities to be exposed into industries and gain industrial experiences. I was lucky to have met industry icons, influencing leaders and experts whom have shared their experience and countless knowledge to me. I was able to create a good bond and absorb what I have learned from them. Each experiences are lessons that motivates and keep me going and advises that I will always treasure.
Industry Icon Session with Mr. Darmendran Kunaretnam
Mr. Darmendran Kunaretnam is Group Managing Director for Safeguards Corporation. I got the opportunity to attend his sessions and all the session that I have attended had given an impact and taught me a lot. I was able to gain countless knowledge from an expert, motivated myself from his session and build self confidence.

This was during one of the session where Saito University students and Safeguards Management representatives
had a great opportunity to present a public speaking topic and speak in front of Mr. Darmendran Kunaretnam,
an industry icon. This session has allowed me to bond with Safeguards representative and taught me that different
people had different public speaking skills. The various topics presented was a interesting session. My topic that I
chose to talk about was "My Mother".

These pictures was taken after one of Mr. Darmendran Kunaretnam session and an appreciation was given to this icon because all of his sessions had inspired and opened our minds to see and look at things in a different perspective. His experiences and knowledge that he shared with me has impacted me and I am very grateful to have met an inspiring icon like him. "In order for your life to be great, you must first learn to appreciate it" - said by Mr. Darmendran during his appreciation session.
Hiking session with Mr. Darmendran Kunaretnam at Bukit Gasing

This hiking was one of the challenging yet memorial moments in my life. I got the opportunity to hike along with an icon and my friends. This hiking has pushed me beyond my comfort zone and it was not an easy task. The climb was hard but the view at the end was worth it. During this, I discover that every step I took to climb up the hill is the same as every step I am taking to climb up and to overcome my struggles and obstacles in my life. This session has been a good lesson within the adventure.

Dato' Dr Ang Bon Beng is an industry icon. He is a Senior Regional Manager and Executive Director of Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd. This icon shared his experiences and gave his advise on how to be successful and the importance of fully utilizing our time in life and the importance of not wasting any time.

I was selected as a representative by Saito University College to participate in this session organized by MQA (Malaysian Qualification Agency) for the dialogue session between all public and private institutes to voice out problems faced by students and to give suggestion and recommendation for improvement.

Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) and
Trainers Conference & Exhibition 2017 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
I attended this event for two (2) days straight at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. I was able to meet many industry icons, leaders, HR gurus. The Theme of this event is Embracing Learning Techs and Big Data & Analytics Applications: Impact on Human Capital. This event allowed me expose myself to real world of Human Resource. The experience gave me countless knowledge and learning as developed my understanding on the HR field even more. This event gave me opportunities to network with many people, speakers and guest, visit the exhibitions that display the latest HR technology, training module and more. The event gave me a glimpse
of how and what the real HR life is about.
INDUSTRIAL COMPANY VISITS
Saito University College have given me the opportunity to meet with varies experts through my company visits. My company visit and industrial learning had taught and exposed me to how the subjects that I have learned is being implemented in an organization. Through my industrial visits I gained a lot of knowledge and experiences. These visits helped me to understand the specific subject in a better way.
