Interpersonal skills are the skills we practice daily when we connect and network with other individuals and groups. By having these strong skills, it can contribute to a successful career and life. This skill can help an individual to work in group or alone. This is because communication, listening, questioning and body language plays a huge role in interpersonal as well as communication skills. This is because Business communication is related to interpersonal skills. This is because the right communication and body language can contribute to the growth of an individual. Example of the skills I have learnt from mastering this skill are presentation skills, networking skills and negotiation skills.
My Personal Reflection:
This subject is very important every day and also the workplace life. Interpersonal skills that I used was during communicating and interacting with everyone that I know and have met. This subject taught me how the body language is very important and also the way we talk could portray ourselves to have a huge impact on others. I learn on how to use both my verbal as well as my nonverbal communication skills when interacting with people. I had the ability to get along with other employees while getting my assigned jobs and task done. The interpersonal skills that I used and implemented from the lessons taught by lecturer comprise from communication, listening skills, attitude, manner and behavior of myself. I believe that having good interpersonal skills are essential and crucial for many positions in an organization. Business communication skills is very important in a workplace. This has increased my knowledge in doing reports professionally and enhance my writing skills in doing reports, letters and more. This subject enhance and sharpened my verbal skills, teamwork skills, communication skills, presentation skills, network as well as interpersonal skills and listening skills Without these skills, daily occupational would be very problematic, since nearly all aspects of work comprise of communication. Many works also include partnership/collaboration and interaction/contact with diverse types of individuals, charcacters and attitudes.
